Welcome to the Callaway High School Chorus Page. The Callaway High School chorus has been a part of the school since the opening of the school in 1996. The Chorus class had approximately 40 members and meets during the school day. The chorus performs 4 or more times throughout the school year. Students in the chorus have opportunities to audition for All-State and Honor Chorus and participate in local choral festivals, literary competitions and Large Group Performance Evaluation. The Chorus has received Excellent and Superior Ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluation. The Chorus is under the Direction of Mr. Adam Wamsley who is in his 6th year at Callaway High School.
Mr. Adam Wamsley
Mr. Wamsley is in his seventh year as Choral Director at Callaway High School. He holds a bachelors degree in music education from Georgia Southern University. While at Georgia Southern, he studied voice, was a memeber of the Statesboro First United Methodist Chancel Choir, the Georgia Southern Wind Symphony, The GSU Jazz Ensemble, Southern Georgia Symphony Orchestra, GSU Trombone Ensemble, and Handbell Ensemble "Bells of Fury". Mr. Wamsley resides in Sharpsburg, Ga with his wife Cayla, his son Noah, and daughter Emma Charlotte.
