Troop 641 Leadership Team
Scouts will need to register with Scouting America and the troop annually. National & regional registration fees cost $97 per scout starting October 1, 2024. The troop also charges $75. The troop fund covers equipment costs and operational costs for the unit. Additional fees may be requested for specific campouts and outings such as summer camp. Scouts have many opportunities to fundraise to cover expenses and there are opportunities to get financial support if your family needs it. We want you child to be able to be in the program regardless of the costs.
What does your $97 buy?

Wearing the Uniform
In general, every Scout should wear their uniform to all Scouting activities, including Troop meetings, unit outings, and any activities.
When playing sports, going to camp, or participating in other physical activities, scouts may wear theur activity shirt. These are sometimes referred to as Class B Uniforms. The Troop offers these for sale annually.
Here are some tips for wearing the uniform:
DO keep the uniform clean and in good repair. The official uniform is a sturdy, machine-washable garment that will last for years with proper care.
DO be sure to wear the complete uniform. A Scout wearing a uniform with parts missing is not in uniform.
DO NOT wear non-Scouting America badges, awards, or insignia on the Scout uniform or make any alterations to the uniform or insignia.
DO NOT mix uniform parts with non-uniform clothing, such as wearing a uniform cap with other clothing or wearing the uniform shirt with blue jeans. The uniform should be treated as a unit—worn in its entirety, or not at all.
