OUR TROOP

A Youth-Led Troop

Troop 310 is a youth-led organization, where Scouts take the lead in planning meetings, organizing trips, and running the troop program. From campouts to service projects, Scouts help decide what activities the troop will do and take responsibility for making them happen.

Adult leaders provide guidance, mentorship, and safety oversight, helping support the Scouts as they build leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and confidence through real experience.

Our Chartered Organization

Troop 310 is proudly chartered by VFW Post 7997 in Old Orchard Beach. VFW Post 7997 provides important support and partnership that helps make our Scouting program possible.

We greatly appreciate their continued support of Troop 310 and the opportunities they provide for our Scouts to grow through leadership, service, and outdoor adventure. Throughout the year, our Scouts work closely with the VFW community—marching alongside them in local parades and helping with annual flag retirement ceremonies to honor and properly retire worn American flags.

Their support and shared commitment to service is an important part of the Troop 310 experience. 🇺🇸
