The living lab comprises a series of experiments: past, current and future. Experimenting is ultimately about creating cities that work, but structuring the process as a lab creates awarness about which mothods are most suited to deal with the issues at hand. You can follow the initiatives and share in the learning (Mostly Norwegian).
Trondheim and NTNU are set to land the first, truly comprehensive University City agreement, University City Trondheim 3.0. Isolated cooperation within sectors and on individual projects will not help cities deal with their future need for knowledge and competence. UCT3 implies an integrated governance model, sharing of personnel, systems for knowledge sharing and opening the city up as a living lab.
