All scholarships that are required to be turned in to Mrs. Scott, must be submitted in
PRINT form directly to the office-either to Mrs. Scott or in the scholarship folders
behind Mrs. Hemme and Mrs. Staton.
DO NOT SUBMIT SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH GOOGLE CLASSROOM! The formatting does
not print correctly, and Mrs. Scott does not receive notifications when items are turned in
there. ALL SCHOLARSHIPS (that are not turned into Mrs. Scott) must be turned in as
hard copies to the office. If you have questions, stop by the office and we will be happy
to help!

Seniors who still need to meet the Math eligibility requirement for the A+ Scholarship Program have the opportunity to take the PreACT on November 19, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Sign up in the high school office if you’d like to participate.
To qualify for A+, students must meet the minimum GPA and Math test score based on the following sliding scale:
The A+ Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to eligible graduates who attend a Missouri community college or participating technical school. However, it’s important to note that financial aid offices apply other grants and scholarships first, such as the Pell Grant or institutional awards. The A+ Scholarship then covers any remaining eligible tuition and fees.
Taking the PreACT is a great opportunity to strengthen your A+ eligibility before graduation!
Students may graduate at the end of the 7th semester (first semester of senior year) if all Carrollton High School graduation requirements are met by the end of that semester.
Write a formal letter addressed to:
Dr. Croy, Superintendent
and the Carrollton Board of Education
Clearly state that you are requesting Early Graduation.
Your letter must also include why you are requesting early graduation (for example, how it would benefit you, what your post-graduation plans are, future opportunities, etc.).
Turn in the letter to Mrs. Scott by September 29, 2025.
Early graduates may participate in the spring graduation ceremonies.
Early graduates will not be permitted to attend prom (unless invited by someone as a guest) or other senior-only activities.
Early graduates are not eligible for any honors or scholarships awarded through Carrollton High School.
If you plan to graduate early, email Mrs. Scott to let her know your intent.
You must meet with Mrs. Scott for an official credit audit to confirm you are on track and have met all requirements for early graduation.
