YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Whakamana Rangatahi is all about nurturing our Rangatahi in a holistic way, supporting all four pillars of the Whare Tapa Whā model. We've partnered with Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi to offer a Level 4 certificate in Te Pouhono ki Toi, reconnecting Rangatahi with te ao Māori. Additionally, and Rangatahi can also earn a Level 1 St John First Aid certificate and Driver's License. Furthermore, this program focuses on building confidence within our Rangatahi, equipping them with the skills and support needed to become employable or pursue further training opportunities.

A 15-week follow-on from Whakamana Rangatahi, TRM Pathways helps rangatahi and adults (16+) build literacy, numeracy, and work readiness. In partnership with Land Based Training, tauira work towards the NZ Certificate in Safety and Service (Level 2).
