As a kaiako at TRM Training, my goal is to establish a safe space where our ākonga (students) feel comfortable expressing themselves, fostering confidence, and inspiring them to pursue their goals. Drawing on a solid foundation on toi māori and raranga, I use creativity as a means to tap into self-expression and connection with our ākonga. I am particularly passionate about hapori (community) driven initiatives that focus on the well-being of our rangatahi (young people). I look forward to working with rangatahi to better themselves and their opportunities for the future.

I hope to help them see the potential within themselves so they can go out into the world knowing they can do anything they set their minds too.

It is an honour and a blessing to serve in the community, especially in such a time as this. I am passionate about supporting young Tāne to create a means and a pathway towards opportunities that they seek. This is done in an environment that is both safe and upholds the Mana and integrity of everyone. With previous experience as a support worker in the housing sector, supporting whānau that have high, complex needs, and are some of the most vulnerable in Aotearoa. Combined with my work history as a qualified Restaurant Manager, has allowed me to work alongside people of all ages, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and developed skills to be able to assess the needs and barriers of our ākonga and the best way to achieve their desired pathway. These experiences have prepared me for the mahi I am most passionate about.
