Assigned BIC for 3 or more days (either separately or together), or any days of out of school suspension,
Exhibited consistent poor behavior throughout the school year (ex: excessive marks on incentive chart),
Attended alternative school in any given quarter or had any office discipline referrals involving any physical contact,
Did not serve all hours of after-school detention assigned,
Absent more than 13 days during this school year (both excused or unexcused)
Has any unpaid school fees,
Failing any class during 4th quarter (1 ½ weeks prior to trip)
Camp Kern has a 3 strikes and you're out policy!
On your first behavior incident, we will have a conversation with you and let you know that we are giving you your first strike.
On the second strike, parents will be called and notified that their child is on the second strike and we are having behavior issues.
On the third strike, parents must drive to Camp Kern to pick up their child and bring them home.
