Mrs. Vermillion

Welcome to 6th Grade!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Jodie Vermillion! I am 32 years young! I live in Bourbon with my husband Brock, our five children, Kathie, Kayden, Camren, Corben, and Cora, and our dog Triton. I enjoy traveling & being with friends and family. I grew up on a Dairy farm that is 5 minutes from the school. On the weekend and on breaks I help out on our family farm by milking cows and feeding baby calves. In July of 2015, I graduated with a Bachelors of General Studies, majoring in elementary education, from Ball State University . In August 2015, I began attending Bethel College to earn my Transition to Teaching degree, which I earned in 2016. This will be my 9th year teaching & my 6th year at Triton Elementary & I am excited to make this my best year yet!

CLASS RULES

At TRITON learning is a priority. We have five classroom rules in order to stay on task and succeed.

#1 Be Responsible – Come to class on time and with all your supplies needed to complete homework on time.

#2 Be Respectful – Respect fellow classmates, teachers, administrators and yourself.

#3 Be Kind – Listen quietly while others are speaking

#4 Be Honest – Do not cheat – Listen and follow the teacher’s direction immediately.

#5 Be your Best – Always do your best work and follow all school rules.
