Chorus Classes
These courses act as a comprehensive study of music through singing and the study of choir pieces. The classes incorporate music selections from across history and around the world. Students learn about music history, music theory, and music literacy through their participation in chorus. In alignment with our department's vision, students are provided with high quality performance experiences to showcase their work throughout the school year. Each chorus class has two required concert performances, one in the winter and one in the spring.
Chamber Choir
Trinity Middle School offers an enrichment opportunity to students seeking higher difficulty music selections and more performance opportunities in choir. The TMS Chamber Choir is an auditioned group of 35-45 singers. Students who successfully audition into the group rehearse regularly during the school day and perform extensively throughout the community at various events and engagements. Some examples of past performance opportunities for Chamber Choir students include shows at the Washington County Fairgrounds, the Washington County Courthouse, Strabane Woods, the Washington Main Street Farmers Market, and at Washington Wild Things games. This group also does significant recruitment for our music program throughout the district and represents Trinity at an adjudication festival each year.
