Four-year-old Preschool at Trinity is led by a licensed teacher and is designed to educate the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our program utilizes The Creative Curriculum and follows the Iowa Early Learning Standards to provide a strong, developmentally appropriate foundation for young learners.
Preschool focuses on building essential skills in the following areas: Social and Emotional Development, Cognitive Development, Physical Development, Language and Literacy, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Art, and Music. Through hands-on experiences and play-based learning, children develop self-confidence, independence, leadership, and citizenship skills.
School readiness skills are fostered through a balance of large and small-group instruction, manipulatives, free play, and active learning. Preschool students also participate in a variety of specials, including art, music, physical education, chapel, and other school-wide events, helping them feel connected to the Trinity community.
Spiritual development is woven into each and every day. Christian decision-making and problem-solving are encouraged during daily activities, while teachers model Christ’s love, teach God’s Word, and pray with students. We truly believe that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made.
Preschool at Trinity builds and strengthens skills to support success and confidence in kindergarten and beyond. Our classroom provides a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children are encouraged to love, learn, play, grow, and explore. Student progress is monitored throughout the year to ensure meaningful, individualized instruction that meets each child’s unique needs.

⭐️ Students must be 4-years-old by September 15th to qualify for the free Statewide Preschool Program.
⭐️ Full-Day (operating hours 6:30am-5:00pm) and Part-Day (academic hours 8:15am-11:15am) openings.
⭐️ All students must be fully potty trained.
