During assessment weeks
On the morning of the assessment
Set an alarm clock and make sure that you are ready in plenty of time.
Make sure that you eat something to kick start your brain.
Check that you have all of the equipment that you need for the assessments that day. For example, do you need a pair of compasses or a calculator?
Check that you know what time your assessments are and which ones you are doing.
What happens before and during the assessments?
At the time of the assessment you will line up outside the classroom where the assessment is taking place. If you are doing your assessment elsewhere (for those with Exam Access Arrangements) you will be told beforehand or collected by a member of staff from the classroom. If you are ill on the day of the assessments, please ask your parents/carers to phone the school as soon as possible and let us know. In most cases you will be able to take the assessment at another time.
