The Army Officer Scholarship Scheme (AOSS) which is offered to high quality students who have the potential to make excellent Army officers
Can I join any Regiment?
Army Scholars can apply to join any Regiment or Corps for which they are eligible. Who can apply?
Only up to 100 scholarships are awarded each year across the whole Country, so competition is tough. Scholarships are awarded on merit, and don’t take your background or method of schooling into account.
What qualifications do I need?
To be eligible, you need to have GCSEs in English Language, Mathematics and either a Science or a foreign language at a Grade 4 or above, as well as obtaining a minimum 40 ALIS points from your seven best GCSE subjects.
