Criminology

Course Outline

This course will equip you with a strong working knowledge of the fundamental aspects of Criminology as a discipline. It is a good course to take if you are interested in pursuing a career in policing, or are looking to attend a university course on the same or a similar subject. The course is different to most A-levels as the methods of assessment are not purely exam-based. You will complete two controlled assessment tasks, as well as two exams. This is great as it allows you to apply your knowledge in a long, project-style task, as well as through the traditional exam format. All universities accept this as a fully credited A-level.
