Tri-Cord Fuel Reformer (TFR)
We offer three types of fuel reformers
In these systems, fuel is reformed into hydrogen. No Urea is used to treat emissions. This makes the TFR a "dry system" for emission control that is compliant with EPA Tier 3 and Tier 4 standards whereas a Urea based emission control would be a "wet system."
EPA Tier 3 and Tier 4 Standards
The EPA has established emissions standards that enforce regulations on the emissions from engines, such as diesel compression engines. One such engine would be a John Deer 4045 Engine. These EPA Tier 3 and Tier 4 Standards which deal with Nitric Oxide (NOx) emission control can be seen in the tables below:

IMO Standards
The IMO also has passed regulations that marine engines must meet. IMO Tier II is a global standard while IMO Tier III is just in control areas for now. Down below shows the basic limit for each IMO standard:
