Tri-Cord is a company that brings the scientific method to life. Coming up with new innovative ideas to help further humanity and to answer many of the questions we are facing in the world today regarding emissions, ecology, and energy to name a few. We at Tri-Cord pursue ways to improve life on earth, and even preserve it.

We search for solutions, test those ideas tweaking as we go, thus making the idea come to life. Being that Tri-Cord’s founder, Mark Hemingway, is a physicist, many of the projects that we are working on started from ideas by observing the needs, holes, and gaps in today’s technology. For instance, Diesel Exhaust Fluid or DEF is fraught with difficulties such as a second fluid, freezing at 11 F, limited shelf life, etc. We researched down to the core and found that the actual working element is the hydrogen in the DEF! The engine fuel is full of hydrogen and it is already on site… how can we get at it and use it directly in the emissions control? Concepts and ideas such as these are explored, parameterized, then it is sent to engineering. An idea goes from the abstract to the precise details on a grander scale.
