Jamie Lorimer

Jamie has fourteen years experience in education. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University in 2002, a Master of Science degree in Educational Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University in 2014, and will finish her PhD in Instructional Design and Technology in May 2019. She has taught first grade, pre-kindergarten, reading, fourth grade, fifth grade, Library Media and Technology Specialist, and is beginning her administrative career as Curriculum Implementation Specialist. She has additional experience as an adjunct instructor at the University level. Her teaching career has afforded her many professional development opportunities. She is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, eMINTS certified, an Apple Teacher, and is certified in conducting observations with the Effective Learning Environments Observation Tool (eleot) and Instructional Practices Inventory (IPI). Her goal is to combine her lifelong ambition to positively impact students’ lives with her career aspirations by increasing technology integration in the classroom through training educators, exponentially increasing the ability to positively impact students’ lives.
