Amber Dougan

I am a technology teacher to kindergarten through fifth-grade students at Oatville Elementary in Haysville, Kansas. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Wichita State University. I also have a Master’s of Instructional Technology from Fort Hays State University. During my 10 years of teaching, 9 of them were spent teaching in a fifth-grade classroom before moving on to my current position. I am a Google Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Educator and a Google for EDU Certified Trainer. I was recently nominated by my school district for Kansas Teacher of the Year for 2021!

Along with teaching my students, I enjoy teaching teachers! It is my passion to help teachers to understand how to integrate technology into their curriculum and classrooms. I believe that technology is one of the most powerful tools that teachers have at their disposal. A great teacher that knows how to effectively integrate technology is unstoppable!
