Reminders:
1. Check the following information in your student portal and contact me if we need to work together on making adjustments: Attendance, Grades, ACT scores, Work Keys scores, transcript information, address, phone numbers, email addresses.
2. All Edgenuity, including grade recovery courses, are due by May 9th at 100% completion with a minimum grade of 60% (D). Work on it at home as well, as much as possible, and schedule the tests in lab 111 with teresemccormick@tpsdonline.org.
3. You must have at least 5 quality points to pass a class. (4 grading periods and final exam)
4. You must have passed the following LEAP exams: Eng. 1 or Eng. 2, Alg. or Geom., Biology or US History. However, all classes must be passed regardless of LEAP scores.
5. You are allowed 10 unexcused absences FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!!! Turn in ANY and ALL medical excuses you may have from the beginning of school. The minutes add up so even the ones for check-ins and check-outs count!
6. Attendance may fail you regardless of the grades in the class if not corrected in the system.
7. Attendance recovery minutes must equal the amount of minutes you went over. So if you keep missing school, the minutes keep adding up and you will run out of time to make it up! (Spring Attendance recovery has not been set up yet)
8. A teacher's absence DOES NOT count for your absence!
9. Check Google classroom often! We are approaching the end of the school year and many senior activity announcements will be HERE!
10. Obstacles are not dead-ends. Communicate and ask for help!

REMINDER
Louisiana state law dictates that students are allowed 10 unexcused absences (per class) (5 per semester). Students that miss more than 10 unexcused days will lose credit regardless of the earned grade in the class. Since the computer logs minutes, late arrivals and early check outs add up to full absences once reached 50min.
If you have extenuating circumstances that you think may cause you to fail due to attendance, contact sheneegros@tpsd.org immediately to develop a plan of action.
Reminder: If you take a Saturday ACT test and do not code us as a receiving school, you will need to get me a copy of the new test scores showing your name on it so I can upload it into our system and update our records.
