Nicholls Dual Enrollment students needing tutoring:

In Person Tutoring-

We also use tutor.com for online tutoring which actually might work better for dual students that can't make it here to campus for in person tutoring.  Tutor.com is free.

ONLINE TUTORING
TUTOR.COM is an online service available to all students. Each student has 10 free hours of tutoring. The link tutor.com can be accessed through your CANVAS home page by clicking the course “Tutoring Center.” Tutor.com is available in most disciplines.  Available services include chat (24/7), chat with voice (24/7), Zoom sessions (by appointment only), drop-off writing review service, and many other services.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All writing tutoring takes place online through this service. 

Reminder:  Textbook and fee reimbursements can be turned in at the end of the semester once final exams have been taken and a final grade of C or better is achieved.  Reimbursement forms can be picked up in Student Services.  All receipts must be attached with completed form.  The form is sent to the school board office for processing and a check is mailed home.  

FALL 2025 Important Information

- Midterm grades will be sent to Counselors by the end of this week.

- The drop date for fall 2025 full term courses is Tuesday, November 11.  I will need an email from the student or you as their School Counselor before noon on that date including the first name, last name, N number, course(s) to be dropped and why. 

- Final grades for fall 2025 will be sent on the morning Friday, December 12th.  

- Graduating Seniors that need a transcript sent to another college or university can find information about requesting a transcript here- https://www.nicholls.edu/records/transcripts/ 

Graduates that qualify and are interested in Spring semester dual enrollment through Nicholls can stop by Student Services at lunch or after their last class to pick up an application.  

All steps of the application MUST be completed by December 15th.
