Description: This session will cover the six hour requirements for teachers in Kansas on the new dyslexia initiatives. This is NOT a trainer of trainer but rather the required training for all teachers and leaders in Kansas schools. In this session we will cover the definition of dyslexia, structured literacy, the science of reading, and KESA and compliance regulations. All three dates are required for this training. The registration link provided is for Day 1. Dates for Day 2 and 3 are listed above; the zoom link for Day 2 & 3 will be shared during the Day 1 Training. Completion of these three dates will meet the entire 6-hour requirement.
