Duolingo - Students can learn foreign languages for free using their Chromebook or phone. Students can learn Spanish, French, Chinese, Arabic, Korean, Japanese, Greek, Navajo or many others!
STEM Resources
Khan Academy- Khan Academy has great videos and challenging math practice problems for students at all grade levels.
Code.org- Whether students want to learn computer coding fundamentals or study more advanced topics, Code.org has amazing resources!
NASA Jet Propulsion Lab- NASA's website has tons of engaging STEM problem sets and projects for students. Students can use pi to determine whether a laser can explode an ice sample!
Art & Music Resources
Broadway Shows - Students can watch Broadway Shows for free online!
Pixar in a Box - Students can get a behind-the-scenes look at how Pixar artists do their jobs. Students will be able to animate bouncing balls, build a swarm of robots, and make virtual fireworks explode.
Song Maker- Students can create and share their own songs using this tool from Google Creative Lab.

Chess Tutorial- Why not learn how to play chess?
Free Online College Classes
All of the websites below offer a wider variety of free virtual college classes; students can learn everything from Astrophysics to Psychology.
Free Virtual Field Trip
“Head in the Clouds,” is a 20 minute virtual field trip experience adapted from the Museum’s onsite curriculum where viewers will wander the Museum’s weather-themed exhibits, head outside to observe the sky, and explore cloud identification and basic meteorology principles.
Aligns to Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards;
Includes pre-and post-field trip resources;
Is highly recommended for independent learning for 1st - 4th graders, but designed for learners of all ages with some support.

STEAMwork - Free STEAM-based Projects
Since March 17, the Museum has produced more than 70 virtual science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) video programs with nearly half a million impressions.The STEAMwork series features short STEAM-based projects, experiments, and design + build challenges which provide an opportunity for the whole family to participate in active learning.
