Director's Note

Hello everyone!

I hope you all have had a great summer and are ready to being the 23-24 school year! We have a lot of great things happening in the Music Department again this year. Students have a variety of ensembles to take part in from Jazz Ensemble to Choir to Drumline! It's going to be another great year of making music at Thompson!

Students can find the majority of the information about their classes in Google Classroom. Most of my students have been invited to join a class, if they have not we will take care of it the first couple days of school.

Parents can also find information regarding what's going on in the classes via Google Classroom. I will also be using Parent Square again this year as my main communication tool between myself and parents. Concert dates, concert dress, volunteer requests and anything related to the Music Department will be sent out via Parent Square

Jan 31st, 2024 - Myra Jazz Festival (Jazz Ensemble)

Mar 12th, 2024 -  Large Group at MSU (Concert Band, Concert Choir and Jazz Ensemble)

April 5th, 2024 - 6th Grade Musical

April 9th, 2024 - Celebration Of The Arts

Apr 11th, 2024 - Small Group at MSU (9-12 grade only)

Apr 18th, 2024 - 5-8 Spring Concert

May 2nd, 2024 -  9-12 Awards Concert 

May 4th, 2024 - State Music at Bismarck State

All TPS Music Concerts will start at 7pm.
