昨年度開催のシンポジウムの成果論集を刊行
2025年3月に香川大学との共催で開催したシンポジウムの成果をまとめた論集を、東洋大学アジア文化研究所の研究叢書として刊行いたしました。本書に収められた各論考とコラムは、瀬戸内海と地中海という規模の上でも地理の上でも大きく異なる二つの内海およびその沿岸地域が、それぞれどのように語られ、表象されてきたのかを、アートと観光というすぐれて近代に特有の現象の観点から論じています。
本書は、人間文化研究機構グローバル地域研究推進事業グローバル地中海地域研究東洋大学アジア文化研究所拠点の研究成果の一部です。

Selected Papers from the Symposium Organized in Kagawa by ACRI
Global Mediterranean at ACRI is pleased to announce the publication of a new volume of selected essays from the symposium organized by ACRI in collaboration with Kagawa University in Kagawa Prefecture in March 2025. Approaching from the perspectives of art and tourism, the essays in this volume explore the multifaceted representations and images historically associated with two inland seas: Setouchi and the Mediterranean.
