Proceedings of the International Symposium Organized in December, 2023, by ACRI, 3/3

The Archive of the Source Materials about the Greater Japan Muslim League is a repository housing the most important photographic materials and documents pertaining to interwar Japanese policies vis-à-vis Islam, known as "kaikyo seisaku." Today, this topic garners attention not only from Japansese researchers but also from scholars abroad. Consequently, it is imperative that we address the myriad issues concerning this extensive source materials in order to advance the global research community's understanding of this subject. 

This book presents the culmination of the presentation and discussion from the first first half of the second day of the international symposium "The Formation of the Relationship between Modern Japan and the Islamic World" organized on December 9, 2023, at TOYO University, which explored supplementary source materials that complement those concerning the Greater Japan Muslim League.

昨年12月開催の国際シンポジウムの要旨集を刊行　3/3

　国際シンポジウム「近代日本とイスラーム世界の関係性の構築」の２日目後半における、大日本回教協会およびその寄託資料に関する発表の要旨を収録した冊子を、東洋大学アジア文化研究所の研究叢書として刊行いたしました。

　本書は、科学研究費助成事業基盤研究(B)「大日本回教協会旧蔵写真資料の国際共同研究：画像資料の実態解明とアーカイブ構築」（研究課題：19H04369）、人間文化研究機構グローバル地域研究推進事業東洋大学アジア文化研究所グローバル地中海地域研究拠点、東洋大学アジア文化研究所特別措置予算「トルコ建国100周年記念：日本゠トルコ関係の回顧と検証」の研究成果の一部です。
