2023年12月15日～17日にかけて、国際地域学専攻のリサーチスキル科目である、質的調査手法演習の実習を、岩手県紫波町で実施しました。

教員３名、修士課程の学生17名（JICAスキーム等で留学中の学生）が参加しました。オガール・プロジェクト、循環型まちづくり政策、地域住民によるまちづくり活動、コミュニティ・ナース活動、地域資源（農産物）を活用したビジネス、空き家活用などの取り組みに関する講義、また浄水場施設の視察などを行いました。

今回の訪問を通じて、日本の地域課題とそれに対する取り組みに対する学生の理解が深まったと思います。岩手県紫波町役場や地域の皆様の暖かいご協力に感謝します。

As a part of the qualitative research methodology, a research skill subject of RDS, 17 students and 3 faculty members visited Shiwa Town, Iwate Prefecture. Lectures were given on the Ogal Project, Circulation based reginal development policy, community development activities by local residents, community nurse activities, business using local resources (agricultural products), and utilization of vacant houses. We also visited a water treatment plant facility. We believe that the students were able to deepen their understanding of regional issues in Japan and the efforts being made to address them.
