The Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion (OVPECI) can help you strategize ways to respond, build, adapt and enhance how you learn, teach and work to further reflect TMU’s values of equity, diversity and inclusion. We work in partnership to reduce barriers to access and inclusion for TMU students, faculty, staff and the broader community, while addressing systemic issues. The OVPECI is led by the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion, Dr. Tanya (Toni) De Mello.

The OVPECI is here to support you and can refer you to opportunities and resources that help you thrive at TMU. We aim to cultivate an environment in which all students, faculty and staff know that they belong.
