Class Meetings
Our Student Services Team meets with each grade several times during the school year for a class meeting . Holding a monthly class meeting gives our Student Services Team the opportunity to meet with each grade level in person to discuss important topics. During these meetings the THS Student Services team provides students with pertinent information regarding upcoming events, deadlines, scholarships, post-secondary information, community service opportunities, etc.

PURPOSE: An individual plan of study (IPS) is both a product and a process for students. Students will work and build on their plan each year at Tonganoxie High School, grades 9 through 12 (during homeroom). By collaborating with families and with the support of THS staff, students will be able to define their career goals and postsecondary plans more clearly. Every student will leave with a plan, whether that plan is to join the military, enter the workforce, attend technical school, or go to a two-or-four year college.
