How To Enter A Work Order Into Incident IQ
All Tech and Maintenance Service work orders should be placed into the Incident IQ work order system, this is used to track the progress and make sure that work orders are directed to the proper technicians.
The web address for work orders: https://tonacsd.incidentiq.com/
You will be presented with a page asking to log in.
Click Google SSO to login with your school Google credentials.
After you log in, click the tickets tab on the left, select +New Ticket to create a new ticket. Select which type of issue you have by clicking on the respective icon.
To enter a work order for a computer problem, click the Devices/Hardware icon. Your device should come up as an option. If the device you're using is not in the list, you may select the device by category. Next you will be prompted to select an issue category and the issue. Enter a detailed description in the description box. Fill out as much information as possible to better assist our technicians resolve the issue. Click submit ticket when you are done filling out all sections.
Quick Steps: Creating a Ticket
Click on New Ticket or if it is device specific use the Quick Ticket on the left
Click on the problem category that best matches the issue
Fill out all entry fields with as much descriptive information as possible
On this page you will be able to add any screenshots of error messages
Click on the submit
