TOKIKO FINE ART International LLC is a private company in New York dealing in works of fine art and having direct relationships with art museums and collectors in Japan. The company was established in 2010. Its predecessor was TOKIKO FINE ART.
Founder/Owner: Tokiko is former curator of a private museum in Tokyo and originally an art historian in the field of 19th to early 20th century of European paintings, especially, the Barbizon School. She moved to New York to establish herself as an independent curatorial researcher and adviser for art museums, private collectors and major sponsorships of international art exhibitions in Japan. Since living in New York City, she has also been involved and fascinated with contemporary artists and their works.
In recent several years, Tokiko has been interested in and researching the lives and works of Japanese artists who created their art works while living in the United States, Europe and/or other countries, either as permanent residents or as short-term residents.
Tokiko sometimes uses her curatorial name, Tokiko Gotoh, she has used since the museum's days in Tokyo.
