We started by filling beakers with hot water about 20ml, and cut a strip half way on filter paper then we put a dot on the strip with a marker. Next we put the filter paper on top of the beaker and folded down the strip so it just touched the water. Then the colour and water went up the strip to the top the paper. Now we are doing it with m & ms and skittles we just wet the m and m and rubbed it on the filter paper and then did the same steps
