Panther Preview Description:
Panther Preview provides a cohort of incoming first-year 6th grade students with the opportunity to engage early on in the TMI experience for two weeks in the summer. They will start their first semester having been exposed to TMI’s resources and with a team of advisors and friends in place to help them along the way. Students will have an opportunity to improve their English, mathematics, and science skills with TMI faculty in order to get a “quick start” academically as well as socially for their sixth-grade year through serving alongside one another through on and off campus opportunities throughout the 2 weeks.
Additionally, students will hear from various faculty and staff such as Father Scott Brown, Father Ben Nelson, athletics, the Corps of Cadets, and more. We can’t wait to meet you this summer! We know this will be an unforgettable and rewarding experience as we welcome you to the TMI community! Lunch and a T-shirt are included. This program is for TMI students only. Register here.
Welcome to the Panther Community! We are excited to welcome you to campus on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for a special program in All Saints Chapel and self-guided tours around our scenic campus. You will hear from TMI's leadership and receive your student's schedule to walk the campus. The Clawset Spirit Store will be also open for you to purchase your TMI Panthers' gear!
Please RSVP for the event by Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Retreat days are scheduled for Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st. These days are designed to get students settled into the new year, meet and connect with their peers, and spend quality time with their advisories. On these days, students will attend classes as normal through chapel. After chapel, students will experience an afternoon of orientation rotation stations led by their grade level advisors one day and participate in team and community building tasks the second day. All 6th and 7th grade students will remain on campus and will not attend 4th/8th period or athletics. The first day of athletics during the school day (directly after 4th/8th period) will be on Monday, August 24th.
6th and 7th grade students must wear their daily uniform (grey polo with uniform bottoms and tennis shoes in dress code) on Thursday, August 20th and may wear TMI spirit dress (jeans in good repair or uniform bottoms with a TMI spirit shirt and tennis shoes in dress code) on Friday, August 21st!
