Aloha Second Grade Families,
Welcome to 2nd grade! I can’t tell you how excited I am to spend this school year with your child. I truly believe that God has great plans for our class, and I feel so blessed to be part of this chapter in your child’s life.
Thank you for trusting Trinity and me with their education this year. I know how precious these years are, and I’m committed to creating a classroom where your child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to grow, not just academically, but in their faith as well.
I’m looking forward to getting to know your family better and working together to make this a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, and memorable moments. It’s going to be a great adventure, and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
Blessings,
Mrs. Harlan

Reminders:
1) Healthy Kids Fun Run Kicks is off to a great start!
Trinity's biggest fundraiser of the year is off to a great start! We have raised almost $15,000 already! We are hoping to purchase a new playground structure for our kids sooner than later! With our top goal being $35,000, we need EVERYONe to help. You and/or your child just need to share their personal link with as many friends and family as possible. The more you share the bigger our totals grow. As donations come in students are rewarded with lots of prizes and other incentives. Our Fun Run day will be Friday, September 12th starting at 9am. Look at all these incentives!
School Wide Incentives:
If we reach our top goal of $35,000, Mr. Klemp has to spend the day on the roof!
If we reach $30,000, we will have a Kona Ice Truck Day!
If we reach $25,000; the entire school will receive Free Dress for the whole week!
The Top Class (average/student) gets a classroom party, plus a 30 minute free recess, & an extra free dress day.
Each class that reaches their $250/student average gets 30 minute free recess and an extra free dress day.

Every student that raises $75 or more gets a free dress day.

Students are allowed to wear any Trinity t-shirt they chose on Fridays. Also starting this Friday, students may wear their favorite NFL t-shirt or jersey. Bonus points for any Green Bay Packer fans :)
3) Beach Church Service and Picnic
We have our annual beach service this Sunday at Kaiaka Bay Beach in Haleiwa. Service starts at 10am with a potluck lunch at games to follow. All are welcome to attend!
Please use your name placard at pickup time and arrive at the time of your oldest child (This rule is to allow the first wave of parents to pick up and leave without being trapped in the lot behind a parent waiting for a student that will not be released for 10 more minutes. This helps prevent excess traffic back-up on California Ave.) Parents arriving too early will be asked to please loop around to let the other parents out.
First day pick up time: K-4 11:20 am, 5-8 11:30 am
Full day pick up times: K-4 2:20 pm, 5-8 2:30 am
Dress codes are as follows:
Monday: PE uniform
Tuesday: Polo uniform
Wednesday: Polo uniform
Thursday: Polo uniform
Friday: PE uniform
Students are required to have closed toe shoes, no crocs or slippers are permitted. Please see the student handbook for more details on the dress code
