This Week:
This week we will be learning UFLI Lessons 96 (ou, ow /ow/) and 97 (vowel teams and diphthongs review). In grammar, we will learn about plural nouns. We will be continuing our Vocabulary unit: Fighting For a Cause, featuring important civil rights activists in history. In science we are continuing our unit on the Cycles in Nature. In Bible Study, we will be going on a virtual trip to Mongolia to celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week!

Join us as we celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week with fun dress-up days that reflect our faith, community, and joy in Christ. Students are invited to participate each day by dressing according to the theme below.
- Monday – Joyful Noise in Praise
✨ “Sing loud and shine bright!”
Wear neon colors to celebrate praising God with joyful hearts and bold faith.➡️ At least half of the outfit must be neon (shirt or bottoms).
- Tuesday – Joyful Noise in Service
🤍 Serving God through our gifts
Dress as a future career to reflect how we can serve others through our talents and callings.- Wednesday – Joyful Noise in Worship
⛪ Honoring God together
Wear your Sunday’s best (church clothes) and/or a cross as we celebrate worship and reverence.- Thursday – Joyful Noise in Community
🏀 Stronger together
Wear sports attire to represent teamwork, fellowship, and our school community.- Friday – Joyful Noise in Christ Alone

Wear purple to symbolize Christ’s royalty.

1) Special Dress on Fridays
Students are allowed to wear any Trinity t-shirt they chose on Fridays. Students may also wear their favorite NFL t-shirt or jersey.
2) Doc Kaloi Annual Golf Classic
Flyers and registration forms have been sent home in your child's Friday Folder last week. We are looking for golfers, sponsors, volunteers & donations for this year's tournament. Proceeds for this go towards our Trinity Keiki Scholarship fund. We are looking for 100% participation from all our families. Our annual tournament is on March 13th at the 360 Ewa Beach Country Club. 4) Kids Heart Challenge continues
Have you registered your child for Kids heart challenge yet? Last week we had just over half our students registered and were just over half way to our school goal of $3500. For every $50 raised your child gets to pop a water balloon over a teacher's head. Raise a $100 to color blast Mr. Klemp with paint! Register at http://www2.heart.org/goto/trinitylutheran
Please use your name placard at pickup time and arrive at the time of your oldest child (This rule is to allow the first wave of parents to pick up and leave without being trapped in the lot behind a parent waiting for a student that will not be released for 10 more minutes. This helps prevent excess traffic back-up on California Ave.) Parents arriving too early will be asked to please loop around to let the other parents out.
Half day pick up time: K-4 11:20 am, 5-8 11:30 am
Full day pick up times: K-4 2:20 pm, 5-8 2:30 am
Dress codes are as follows:
Monday: PE uniform
Tuesday: Polo uniform
Wednesday: Polo uniform
Thursday: Polo uniform
Friday: PE uniform
Students are required to have closed toe shoes, no crocs or slippers are permitted. Please see the student handbook for more details on the dress code
