May 4 - May 8
Welcome to Quarter 4 of 3rd Grade!
May 4 - May 8
Aloha Parents,
We are officially in out last month of school. Time is really moving fast. Like mentioned earlier, we have a lot of things we will be doing this month; therefore, our schedule may change. This week students will not be given spelling work or test, multiplication, quizzes, or grammar to make room for May Day Practice.
More information will be sent home with instructions for May Day by Thursday of this week.
Just a few reminders/notices for this week:
April Reading Logs were due May 1st. If your child did not turn them in they are still able to.
Tuesday students will have their Ancient Rome Assessment (we have been doing a lot of review in class)
Wednesday we have our walking field trip to Leilehus High School to get ready for May Day.
Friday will be early dismissal at 1:20.
Friday will be our May Day performance doors open at 6:00 p.m. at Leilehua Gym and program starts at 6:30.
Students will only have two weeks to turn in/complete any missed work, graded assignments, and retakes starting from the day your child returns to school or from the day work or assignments are passed back. All missing work or assignments can be found on Sycamore. Therefore, it is important to check Sycamore a few times a week. If you see that your child does not have a grade for a particular assignment on Sycamore, that means that they did not turn it in.
We are in the final month of the school year, I encourage you to regularly check Sycamore for your child's grades. There are many activities planned, and this is a particularly busy time; therefore, it is important to stay on top of the work.
Thank you for your continued support! Please contact me if you have further questiosn
Blessings,
Mrs. von Dohlen
