Unit 1: Exploring Earth
→ Includes Earth’s structure, minerals, and rocks
Unit 2: Geologic Changes
→ Includes plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes, and fossils
Unit 3: Weather and Climate
→ Includes Earth’s atmosphere, weather and climate patterns
→ We will begin discussing the Science Fair at the end of the second quarter.
Unit 4: Earth’s Waters
→ Includes Earth’s oceans, freshwater sources, and natural resources
→ Science Fair will also take place during the third quarter.
Unit 5: Exploring the Universe
→ Includes the Solar System, stars, and galaxies

Thursday In Class: Mini Lab: How do Landforms compare?
Friday In Class: Review Notes/Complete and remaining packet work. Packets Due and Lesson 3 Quiz (Open Book) – Hand Out Study Guides to be completed over the weekend.
