Welcome! My name is Mrs. Solter!

I will be your child’s 3rd-grade teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year! 

I look forward to a fantastic finish to the year!

Where am I from? Our family has always lived in California. I grew up in the Bay Area with my twin sister and four other siblings. Soon after getting married, my husband and I, along with our young family, moved to Capitola, and we have loved this community! Being by the ocean and beach with our family has afforded us so many wonderful activities. And the best of all, we have a lot of visitors who want to come to the area, which we love to host at our place. 

My Education: I’ve always had a thirst for education and learning, both in a classroom setting and traveling around the world. After graduating from college, I began working towards my teaching credential. After that was complete, I continued until I received my Masters in education. I’m sure there’s still much more to learn and come in the future. 

My Hobbies: I played a lot of soccer growing up. My first team was called the butterflies at age 5. I continued playing on traveling teams and into and even after my college career. I hung up the cleats for now, though my dad, sister, and I all get together for the father/ daughter weekend. Yes, he still plays at 83. I now have two dogs that require lots of walk/ runs. So, being outdoors is definitely important. I also make a lot of sourdough items, bread, bagels, crackers, and pizza dough. Really finding that inside and outside perfect balance is what I strive for. I would like to put time into playing an instrument.
