Welcome! My name is Mrs. Kufchak!

I will be your child’s 3rd-grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! This is my eighth year teaching third grade at Twin Lakes Christian School, and I look forward to a great year!  

Where am I from? I was born in Santa Cruz, CA. My parents were married in the auditorium "Big Church" back when the carpets were orange, and I've grown up attending TLC since I was a child. Although I went to Rio Del Mar for elementary school, where my father currently teaches sixth grade, the TLC campus has always felt like home. 

My Education:I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Biblical Studies from Biola University located in La Mirada, CA. Biola University is also where I completed my student teaching and received my K-8 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. In 2021, I completed the SCOE induction program, which cleared my credential. As of last school year 24-25, I have renewed my ACSCI Christian teaching credential.

My Hobbies: I enjoy taking photos/videos, being creative, dancing, and going to the beach! As of summer 2022, I also enjoy spending time with my husband, Tanner. He often helps at school events, so please come up to him and say hello! This past summer of 2024 we celebrated two years married with a European trip! :) (Scotland, England, France, and the Netherlands).  And at the end of July, I went on another trip to Nashville, Florida, and Colorado! This has been a full summer of traveling for me and the most I have ever done! I am so grateful! 🩷☀️*Update: Summer 2025 Tanner and I headed to Barcelona, Florence, and Rome to celebrate my 30th birthday! Spain & Italy--we miss you! ✈️
