Sight Words should be practiced nightly. We focus on 2-3 sight words each week in class, but students are encouraged to work at their own pace at home. The goal is for students to be able to both read and write these words by the end of the year. Mastering these sight words and strengthening decoding skills will give your child the tools he or she needs to become a confident and successful reader.
