The conference took place 7th July 2021. Our Portuguese partner gave a presentation of EngiMath project and introduced EngiMath project in general, needs analysis, the online course and mathematics online assessment model.

INTED2021 - International Educational Conference - Sharing the passion for learning

The conference took place 8th-9th March 2021 online. Our Portuguese partner had a presentation ”Innovative teaching methodologies for an online engineering mathematics course”. The presentation introduced EngiMath project, methodological and development issues of the online course and student feedback to the pilot course. ICL2020: Educating Engineers for Future Industrial Revolutions

This conference took place in a virtual environment on 23 - 25 September, 2020. Anne Uukkivi had a poster presentation ”Technique of Active Online Training: Lessons Learnt from EngiMath Project”. The poster presentation introduced EngiMath project and the technique of creating tests.

T2P International Scientific Conference "Theory to Practice as a Cognitive, Educational and Social Challenge"

The conference took place 17th-18th September 2020, Mitrovica, Kosovo. Our Portuguese partner had a presentation ”Interactive E-contents to Support Student's Engagement - Challenges and Practices in an Erasmus+ Project”. The presentation introduced EngiMath project and the technique of creating interactive teaching and learning e-contents.

Seminar "Modern teaching in STEM field in higher education"

This seminar took place in Tallinn at TTK UAS on 27 August, 2020. Oksana Labanova had a presentation ”Engineering Mathematics online course”. The presentation introduced EngiMath project and parts of a collaborative online course: learning materials, practice and assessment tests.

INSTEAD — VI Workshop on Innovative Teaching Methodologies for Math Courses on Engineering Degrees

Filomena Soares and Ana Paula Lopes presented an invited talk entitled “The realities of developing a new online engineering mathematics course” at INSTEAD — VI Workshop on Innovative Teaching Methodologies for Math Courses on Engineering Degrees, that took place online, on June 25-26, 2020, Porto.

3rd International STACK Conference

This conference took place in a virtual environment on 27 April, 2020. Ana Paula Lopes and Filomena Soares had a poster presentation ”Using STACK to promote random questions in Practice Moodle Quizzes”. The poster presentation introduced EngiMath project and creating test questions using STACK.

2nd International Conference on Research in Teaching and Education

This conference took place in Budapest 6-8 March, 2020. Anne Uukkivi and Oksana Labanova had a presentation "Students’ testing preferences in mathematics". This presentation was mostly based on the data of mathematics courses at TTK UAS. Part of this presentation was about EngiMath engineering mathematics e-course.

14th annual International Technology, Education and Development Conference, INTED2020

14th INTED conference took place in Valencia from 2nd to 4th of March. Ana Paula Lopes and Filomena Soares had a presentation "Developing interactive e-contents for a mathematic Erasmus+ project - challenges and experiences". This presentation concentrated on the construction of the theoretical content.

Conference From Teacher to Teacher 2020: Learning and Teaching as Collaborations

The event took place on 16th of January 2020 in Tartu, Estonia. Anne Uukkivi presented the e-poster "Creating a joint e-course based on the EngiMath project" (in Estonian). The presentation focused on the cooperation aspect.

2020 International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Science and Engineering

From 14 to 16 January 2020 took place the 2020 International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Science and Engineering (MACISE) in Madrid, Spain. The presentation "Bringing Mathematics to Engineering: Online Learning-Teaching Model" addressed the link between mathematics and engineering.

ICERI2019: 12th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation

This conference has been held in Sevilla, Spain on 11-12 of November, 2019. Anne Uukkivi and Oksana Labanova had a presentation "Factors that support engineering students learning in sciences". The presentation was about students support and one part of the presentation introduced EngiMath project and especially our engineering mathematics course.

National congress CNaPPES.19 "Factors that support engineering students' learning in sciences" took place July 11-13 , 2019 in Santarém, Portugal. Ana Paula Lopes and Filomena Soares had a poster presentation "Desenvolvimento de um Modelo de Aprendizagem On-line em Matemática na Área de Engenharia".

EDULEARN19, the 11th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies

Conference EDULEARN19 in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) took place July 1-3, 2019. Ana Paula Lopes and Filomena Soares had a poster presentation "A European Educational Math Project-Comparative Needs Analysis in Partner Institutions" and introduced analysis results of the pilot assess tests. Vlad Bocanet held on 24 of May a presentation at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund in the Active Learning in Higher Education session and introduced his university and our project. This session was part of a 4. Dortmunder Symposium Bewegungstechnic.

EURASHE 29th annual conference

EURASHE 29th annual conference in Budapest (Hungary) took place May 15-17, 2019. Anne Uukkivi and Ken Brown had a presentation "On-Line Assessment n Engineering Mathematics: Why and How?" and introduced the project and results of IO1.

Seminar The History of Constructions

Anna Cellmer had on 9th of April a presentation "Creative industry in land management and urban growth" at the seminar "The History of Constructions" which was held at the Universities Ovidius in Constanta and introduced also our project.
