M 6/7 Structural Analysis of Boat
YOU ARE INVITED!
Our project is about the Structural Analysis of the Boat. The aim of this project is to find a boat design that can accommodate as much weight as possible. We must understand the concepts of buoyancy and water displacement to design a watercraft that will support a given amount of weight to build our boat.
We are inviting everyone to witness our journey and join us to enjoy our prepared activities!

A scoby is famous for making kombucha, and in the process of making kombucha,
there is usually extra scoby left. Some people may store it as a scoby hotel or some
people just throw it away. But these people do not know that scoby can be made into
many other products such as yam, leather, energy balls, sourdough, and dog treats.
The reason we choose to do an accessory is that nowadays, earring, necklaces, and
bracelets in the market are very expensive. There are also ones that are low price but
come with low quality. We want people to know that accessories can be made from
scoby too and they are unique in affordable price.
Nowadays, there are a lot of things in our daily lives that are made from materials
that are hard to decompose or cannot be decomposed. This impacts our
environment and causes serious issues. One of them is a product made from
leather. In this case, we focus on the leather-like substance known as synthetic
leather, which has an effect on the environment. They took a long time to
decompose. And their decomposition process is also not friendly to the atmosphere.
Otherwise, to get a real leather effect, the environment with the population number of
animals, animals harmed, and some animals might be extinct.
Because of Covid-19, which caused our country's economy to stall in some places or
the Thai regional currency to depreciate more than before, we saw that people were
frequently adopting pets rather than having children. This made us realize that there
was a market for something unique, such as dog food that is safe and not overly
expensive so that our customers can afford it.
Because Scoby is popular nowadays, It has many products produced by Scoby. The
purpose of our project, in order to bring Scoby to create more products and expand the
range. Help people who want to start doing Scoby can look at it as a guide. In addition,
because Scoby has many benefits, it can be adapted to various things. We would like
to use our Sourdough and Jam as another option.
SCOBY suggests promise in producing a lot of objects. By getting to know from
the efforts of other countries, we trust that it is viable to create such products. Due to the
scarcity of hand soap from SCOBY in shops, we conducted this research to explore the
ability to create hand soap using SCOBY as a sustainable alternative.
A major change is currently taking place in the industrial sector. Technology
development and the demand for greater productivity, efficiency, and flexibility are
the reasons behind this. Manual labor, uneven quality, limitation, and limited mobility
are issues encountered in traditional production settings. These obstacles create the
way for the transition to "smart factories," which change industrial processes by
maximizing the benefits of automation, connectivity, and data integration.
For inquiry purposes to learn about the park in which we might be living in
the future to compare between the present and the future of the park whether the
park in the future is more beneficial or worse we will find out that. A sustainable
city that solves urban problems and improves citizens’ quality of life through the
revolution of technology smart parks are emerging to solve urban problems from
various fields such as transportation, environment, welfare, economy, safety,
energy, and the efficient distribution of resources. Smart parks aim to improve the
overall quality of life for their residents.
The traditional dining experience often involved long waiting times, order errors, and
limited customization options, leading to customer dissatisfaction. Additionally, restaurant owners
faced challenges in managing inventory, optimizing staff schedules, and staying competitive in a
dynamic market.
The study inquires about upcoming eateries. and determine whether future eateries will be
better, comfortable or worse than the ones we have now by comparing them to the present.
Traditional train stations often need a lot of energy, use resources incorrectly, and
include emerging technologies only in part. Increased carbon emissions and high trash
production are the results of these problems. On the other hand, smart railway stations
transform how consumers use transportation thanks to modern air tunnel buildings, data
connection, and green efforts. In order to reduce garbage from paper railway tickets, a
system for online tickets bought has also been created, assuring efficient resource
utilization and lowering waste production.
This study is about how to incorporate plastics into cement. We started this
study due to our observations that many buildings in our city are crumbling and are
poorly made and that there is a lot of plastic trash in our city and we particularly
observed that there is a lot of waste plastic bottles so we decided to try and solve these
two problems at the same time by trying to incorporate waste plastic bottles into cement
to reduce waste and to make a new cement that is sturdier and so we started this study.
In the present lighthouse was served to warn mariners of dangerous shallow and
perilous rocky coast and they also guide vessels in and out of harbors , warn vessels
about dangers and guide them to safe places and its another important purpose about
lighthouse is to warn civilian about incoming tsunami after earthquake which occur near
the shore of the ocean and because it need to withstand the earthquake
The building is easy to destroy when one day it has a natural disaster and it is used
many times to build again. We want to fix this problem by building a building model for
testing which material is the strongest, and the invention of recycling waste to help reduce
global warming that is the source of natural disasters. So this problem has been going on
for a long time until now. So materials that we have come to test are glass, sawdust,
eraser, plastic and paper.
In our everyday existence, the ubiquity of buildings is readily apparent. The
inception of construction dates back numerous years and has perpetually expanded,
encompassing residences, workplaces, storage facilities, and establishments serving
diverse industries, a prevailing sight across the world.
Earthquakes occur all over the world, causing devastation to buildings and
people’s lives. Not all earthquakes are deadly or devastating but the ones that are
cause millions of dollars in damages, sometimes billions. Although many countries
have taken measures to prevent this, some countries are not prepared due to
earthquakes not being a common occurrence for them.
Earthquakes are natural phenomena that can have devastating effects on human
lives, infrastructure, and the environment. They occur when there is a sudden release of
energy in the Earth's crust, resulting in seismic waves that can shake the ground and
cause significant damage. Earthquakes are a global concern, affecting various regions
around the world with varying intensities and frequencies.
Earthquakes affect people in every way such as finding someone
you love,finance,health, and especially their houses.The biggest effect of it is on
the buildings.Because earthquakes are a natural phenomenon.That the earth's
surface is shaking,making the poles of buildings in the area moving.
An earthquake is a natural disaster caused by the movement of tectonic plates. Earthquake deals massive damage to buildings and all creatures. Each quake has a different level of shaking, ranging from very mild tremors to strong tremors that can cause buildings to collapse.
The background of this building is that our building design got an idea from a
normal building that we can see every day. So in almost every city most of their building
designs are very simple, which is a normal and simple square platform design, but the
interior of each building is different. Our buildings are also very supportive and strong
to handle the earthquake so that it would be suitable and safe for people that are in the
building.
An earthquake is what happens when two blocks of the earth suddenly slip past one
another. The surface where they slip is called the fault or fault plane. Sometimes an
earthquake has foreshocks.The largest, main earthquake is called the mainshock.
Mainshocks always have aftershocks that follow.
When humans started trading overseas they mainly used water transportation—
boats and ships because it’s the easiest way to carry huge loads of goods to other
parts of the world. Today, aside from planes and trains, water transportation is still
the main transportation used to trade goods. They are very crucial to the world’s
economy and have become a source of income for countless households.
Boats have played a very significant role in the history of humanity. Without
the invention of boats, humanity would not have discovered that the Earth is round,
foreign exchanges would have been impossible, and traveling to other continents
would have been just a dream. Even though we now have airplanes, a much faster
way of continental transportation, boats still remain important.

Ships and boats are being used as sea transportation everyday, either to ship
cargo overseas or as a way for people to travel through the big seas and ocean.
There are many types of boats and ships being used everyday. Compared to what
we had in the past, where we only imagined that material like wood can only be used
as a material for boats and ships, now with our advanced knowledge and newer
technology, we could make ships out of steel or any other materials that we’d
thought were not possible.
Boats, as watercraft designed to transport people or goods across water
bodies, have played a significant role in human history. Primarily utilized for
transportation and trade due to the efficiency of water routes, boats have evolved
over time to cater to diverse needs.
This study seeks to delve deeper
into the realm of powerboats, exploring their design, functions, and the technological
advancements shaping their trajectory.
Transportation is an important economic driver both domestically and internationally. There are
three modes of transportation: sea, air, and land. Each type of transportation has its own
advantages and disadvantages. Most domestic transportation is by ground transportation by
using trucks or transport vehicles but international shipping Ships are often used for
transportation.
As we lived our daily lives when we decided to go somewhere, sometimes we
needed to walk or even drive across a bridge. The bridge is one of the most important
infrastructures which helps people to perform activities related to transportation. It is an
infrastructure connecting two destinations and carries the road and rail traffic in a single
span. A suspension bridge is one of the most popular types of bridge we can see
throughout our lives. The suspension bridge is a bridge that has overhead cables for
supporting the roadway and these cables will straddle the towers.
We were given a task from teachers to make a strong and durable bridge
that can hold up to two kilograms. The ideas of our group members went in a
different way. Everyone has their own idea of making it. Some think it is hard to
make it work. Some think it’s easy but need good logic. That's Why we need
good management of our thoughts first.But then we brainstormed in a group,
everyone tried to connect their ideas. Everyone is debating to get the best bridge
we can get. We took about three days to get the final idea.
In our daily lives, there are so many ways that we use transportation to travel
from one place to another, for example, roads, highways, and also including the “Bridge”
that we are going to focus on in this research. As we know bridges don't have only one
type but it turns out that it has more than one. There are seven main types of bridges
which are arch bridges, cable-stayed bridges, beam bridges, cantilever bridges,
suspension bridges, truss bridges, and tied arch bridges.
This research paper is one part of the Sciences and Maths
collaboration project. We have researched about the efficiency and
strength of materials that we choose to make, and especially on what
science and math behind making a suspension bridge.
Suspension bridge is a type of bridge in which the deck is hung
below suspension cables on vertical suspenders. The basic structural
components of a suspension bridge system include stiffening girders and
trusses, the main suspension cables, main towers, and the anchorages
for the cables at each end of the bridge.
The study of building popsicle stick bridges is like an exciting adventure in
construction. It began as a clever way to teach us about how real bridges work, by using
simple materials like popsicle sticks and glue. These little bridges we make are kind of
like models that help us understand big bridges better.
