AMSA Global Health Rep

From the Current AMSA Global Health Rep, Aish JangamI: I have loved my year as the UQ AMSA Global Health Rep for many reasons! It has allowed me to meet a variety of people from all over Australia (and the world), giving me a better insight into broad global health issues, the amazing work that is being done to address these issues in Australia and the lovely people pioneering it. It is also a great way to familiarise yourself with TIME, AMSA, AMSA Global Health and IFMSA – there are so many opportunities that I didn’t even realise existed until I undertook this position. Finally not only was I able to get involved and assist with TIME’s events, I was able to go to the wonderful GHC and head the UQ delegation (guaranteed rego!). This role is only limited by what you make of it!
