I saw an amazing study on Gratitude, showing that focusing for just 3 minutes a day on what you feel gratitude for elevated neurotransmitters (communication molecules) in your brain and hormones associated with feeling good. In addition, doing this actually increased the size of those parts of the brain. Anything that builds your brain, especially as you age, is good news.

How incredible is that?? I am taking the next month to focus on Gratitude for 3 minutes each day.

How would your life be different if you could take 3 minutes a day to sit, breathe, and reflect on what you are grateful for?

How would your experience shift if you shared what you are grateful for with your loved ones/friends?

What might happen if they sat with you for 3 minutes and reflected on what they felt gratitude for?

We hear that what we think about is real, and has real and measurable effects on our body;

here is proof of that! Have fun practicing this!

Thanks Nancy for this gold nugget!
