The Ascension - The Little Liturgies (EYFS & KS1)
Our Little Liturgy celebrates the Ascension. This is the miraculous moment when Jesus went back to His Father in heaven. In the Gospel story, we hear Jesus make His friends a promise: "I will always be with you." Greg helps us to understand how Jesus is always with us through the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray and thank Jesus that He will never leave us and we end with one of our favourite action songs "This Little Light of Mine."

The Ascension - The Mark 10 Mission
In 'The Ascension' we celebrate the moment when the risen Jesus ascended back to His Father in heaven. We hear in the Gospel how, before He departed, Jesus made His friends a wonderful promise "I am with you always; yes, to the end of time." Fr Columba asks the question "Why did Jesus have to go?" and gives us the most incredible of answers. This leads into a peaceful time of prayer and a worship time in which Fr C returns to sing "Beautiful Name."

The relics of St. Bernadette are touring England, Wales and Scotland this Autumn. In both liturgies we share the Gospel story of the wedding at Cana. We then reflect upon the importance of Our Lady and how St. Bernadette helps reveal the beauty of Our Lady to each of us. To conclude the liturgy, Fr Columba CFR sings Ave Maria.
