Rates & Payment Information
I recognize that you are putting a lot of effort, time, and money in making the changes you seek and as such, I am 100% committed to you in that effort. We will set achievable goals together and monitor your progress towards your goals on a regular basis.
Fees:
$130 for a standard 53-minute session (online)
Sliding Scale: a sliding scale is when a counselor offers to reduce the cost of sessions for a client who has a financial need to help make services more affordable. Many counselors offer a sliding scale and may structure it different ways - for me, I take only a certain number of clients at various reduced rates, when clients cannot afford the full fee. If you would like to begin counseling with me, but cannot afford the full rate, please contact me and ask about my sliding scale. If all my sliding scale spots are full, I will be happy to put you on a waiting list until a spot opens up, or I can provide you referrals to other therapists who may also offer a reduced rate.
Payment:
Credit, Debit, and Check are all acceptable forms of payment.
Payment is due at the end of each session.
Cancellation Policy:
24-hour notice is required to cancel and reschedule an appointment. If you do not show for your scheduled appointment without proper notice 2 times within a 60-day period, you risk having your regularly scheduled appointment removed from the calendar.
Insurances:
I am able to accept and bill the following insurances at this time: MaineCare, Medicare, Aetna, Anthem Behavioral Health, Anthem Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Anthem Medicare Advantage, Maine Community Health Options, and United Behavioral Health (aka Optum).
Please be sure to contact your insurance company about your deductible and/or co-pay before your first scheduled session. If I am considered an "out of network provider" by your insurance, I can provide you with a form known as a "super bill" showing that you have paid for services and with that, you can submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.
