Well-Being @ The Weald

Welcome to The Weald's well-being website. We hope we can give you some general information about where to go for help and support, whether you are a student, a parent or carer, or a member of staff, a governor, or indeed anyone in our school community.

We are a school that seeks to look after our well-being, both physical and emotional. We aim to focus on positive ways of maintaining and boosting healthy and positive living, whilst always recognising that everyone needs support at times.

We also aim to remove any stigma attached to mental or emotional ill-health. We think that in exactly the same way that our physical health changes and fluctuates, so do our moods and emotions. Sometimes these changes may seem beyond our control and we need external help.

If you need someone to talk to urgently about any difficulties you are experiencing, please do the following:

  • Students - email help@theweald.org.uk and someone will speak to you privately within 24 hours, or complete the Google form below and we can direct you to online support very quickly
  • Staff - contact Time to Talk on 01444 251084 between 9-5 on weekdays
  • Parents/carers - if you are concerned about your child, please contact your child's tutor in the first instance
