Kitchen Management

Guidelines and Information

The Village School will work closely with Flik Independent School Dining to ensure the following Kitchen Management guidelines:

  • All self-service stations including salad bars have been removed.

  • Students are provided with pre-packaged food options.

  • All snacks are pre-packed for Finna.

  • Finna & Elementary students eat their lunch inside their classrooms and have pre-package meals delivered to their classrooms.

  • All utensils are disposable.

  • All deliveries drivers, especially those bringing items into the building, are required to wear PPE including a mask at all times while on campus.

  • All kitchen staff are pre-screened upon arrival to work where they have their temperature checked to ensure it does not exceed 37.5℃/99.5F. They are also required to use hand sanitizer at this time.

  • All kitchen staff wear face masks and gloves at all times.

  • All food safety and hygiene standards are strictly enforced.

  • Standard kitchen cleaning protocols are strictly enforced, with all surfaces regularly sanitized throughout the day.

  • No unauthorized personnel are allowed in the food preparation or serving area.
