企業法務関連の研究を行うUniLaw企業法務研究所代表。
1978年東北大学法学部卒業。1978年から2017年8月まで複数の日本企業および外資系企業で法務・知的財産部門の責任者またはスタッフとして企業法務に従事。1998年弁理士試験合格。2003年Temple University Law School （東京校） Certificate of American Law Study取得。GBL研究所理事、国際取引法学会会員、IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) 会員。
He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Tohoku University in 1978, passed the 1998 examination of the patent attorney, and obtained a Certificate of American Law Study at Temple University Law School (Tokyo) in 2003. Since graduated from the University and until August 2017, he had been engaged in corporate legal affairs as General Counsel or a member of the legal departments of Japanese companies and foreign-affiliated companies, including an automobile manufacturer, computer manufacturer, luxury brand and IT services company. He is a member of the Japanese Association of International Business Law, GBL (Global Business Law) Institute (a board member), and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He has written the following articles and books in relation to business law issues.
