The Togetherness Project is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to turning compassion into action by connecting high school students with meaningful volunteer opportunities while mobilizing resources for families and individuals in need. In just one year of active service, what began as a small initiative has grown into a rapidly expanding movement, extending its reach globally and building a growing network of community partnerships. Through collaborations with organizations such as CityTeam San Jose, District Board Member Van Le, Guadalupe River Park, and numerous other nonprofits, we have created meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with their communities, develop leadership skills, and drive tangible change. Beyond volunteering, our initiatives have helped raise approximately $90,000 in donations to support families facing hardship and provide essential resources to those who need them most. Our growth reflects the collective power of young people united by a shared commitment to service, demonstrating how a single initiative can evolve into a movement with an impact far beyond its beginnings. With several new chapters preparing to launch across the United States, The Togetherness Project is entering an exciting new chapter of expansion, bringing our mission to more communities and empowering more young changemakers to turn compassion into action. We believe that when young people are given the opportunity to lead, serve, and unite, their impact can extend far beyond what once seemed possible.
Our mission is to empower young people to become catalysts for positive change by connecting them with meaningful volunteer opportunities and mobilizing resources to support families in need. Through community partnerships, youth leadership, and collective action, The Togetherness Project strives to bridge the gap between the desire to serve and the opportunity to make a difference, fostering a more compassionate, inclusive, and connected community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
