I can't believe it is here.... your LAST DAY AS A KINDERGARTENER! Oh my goodness, I am so excited for you! You have learned SO MUCH this year! You've made new friends! You've grown! You've laughed! You've played! You did it!!!! I hope you have an amazing summer full of adventures. Don't forget to stop by my classroom when you're a big first grader next year and tell me hello! I will always miss you and love you, but know that I am so so SO proud of you!
Our Zoom class meeting today will include a read-aloud and time for giving classmates compliments. We will also give our final farewells before summer begins! Yay you!
Love,
Mrs. Bradley
Supplies Needed:
Jar or bucket
Popsicle sticks or pieces of paper
Markers
How To:
Brainstorm activities you would like to do this summer. (if you need ideas check here, or here). Use a marker to write a different activity on each popsicle stick or small piece of paper.
When your popsicle sticks are done, place them into the bucket. If you use paper, fold this up before putting them in the jar.
Whenever you are feeling adventurous this summer, choose a stick and enjoy the suggested activity!

Lid from a plastic container
Hole punch
4 long pieces of yarn
Pony beads
Very ripe fruit and/or sponge and sugar water

String beads on the yarn.
Once the beads are all strung, tie the 4 pieces of yarn together at the top.
Cut up some ripe fruit and place it on the lid, or soak a sponge in sugar water.
Look around your outdoor area and find a tree that works well, near lots of flowers.
Keep an eye out for any winged friends to visit!
Click here to access BOOM Cards. Scroll down your assigned decks and you will see lots of new stuff added! Spend about 20 minutes practicing skills we've learned this year. You can use any deck.
Record a short video of yourself (about 30 seconds or less) saying goodbye to your friends for the summer! Then upload it to our class Padlet so we can all see!
To upload a video, click the pink plus sign, then click on the upload area and navigate to your saved video on your phone or computer. Give your post a title and that's it!
I'm going to reshare some of my favorite mindfulness activities this week. Enjoy! Be the Pond
