This week is a little different. We only have 3 days of school left! I have planned lots of activities. You are welcome to choose as many as you'd like and are interested in. Some of the activities require special supplies. As you finish your year in Kindergarten, I hope you think back and reflect on all of the amazing things you've learned and how much you've grown! I am so proud of you!
Our Zoom class meeting today will include a virtual art show with Mrs. Murphy. Choose an art project from Distance Learning that you would like to share with the class. If we have extra time, we will play 20 Questions. Hope to see you there!
Love,
Mrs. Bradley
Supplies Needed:
Sturdy art surface such as thick paper, cardboard, foam core, posterboard, etc.
Squeeze bottle of glue
Table salt
Watercolors or food coloring prepared in water
Paint brushes or dropper/pipette
How To:
Squeeze glue designs or pictures onto your card stock. Start with an insect drawing or come up with your own idea.
Sprinkle with salt until the glue is thoroughly covered. Tip to let excess salt fall away. Placing your paper in baking dish or tray will help contain the salt, or do this part outside.
Dip your paint brush into your watercolor paint then gently touch to the salt-covered glue lines. Watch the paint “magically” travel in both directions!
Let dry thoroughly. This may take a day or two. It's that simple! Have fun!

This very hungry caterpillar has just emerged from its egg and needs to keep eating to keep growing! But, all of the food is on the other side of a river! Using whatever supplies you can find, build a bridge that can cross a "river" (could be blue paper or material, a blanket, etc) so the caterpillar can get to the other side! Feel free to create the caterpillar and the food, too!
Click here to access BOOM Cards. Scroll down your assigned decks and you will see lots of new stuff added! Spend about 20 minutes practicing skills we've learned this year. You can use any deck.
Think about each friend and something you want to say to them before summer. It can be nice or silly, or a fun memory of that person. Type it under each name (or an adult can help you) and sign your name if you want! Click back in on another day to see what your friends wrote for you!
I'm going to reshare some of my favorite mindfulness activities this week. Enjoy! Sitting Still Like a Frog
